SAMM successfully integrated DASS710 for full control, processing, logging and display interface of the device
OIC's SAMM successfully implemented a dedicated driver for 3D imaging sonar Echologger DASS710. The device can be operated from OIC's stand alone mosaicking module (SAMM) in realtime. SAMM provided a full control, processing, logging and display interface for DASS710, allowing users to see their scanning data in real‐time on a chart or air photograph, while analysing the resulting XYZ points in an interactive 3‐D viewer.
DASS710 with help of SAMM would be a powerful tool for 3‐D imaging of underwater structures, such as bridge abutments, harbour walls, bulkheads and tank interiors.
